Updated/New Web Site Launch

Hartford, Connecticut – (January 11, 2010) – The George W. Crawford Black Bar Association (“Crawford”) is pleased to announce the launch of its new web site at: www.georgecrawfordblackbar.org. The website introduces the following new features:

• A blog feature, which allows Crawford to provide its members and supporters with up to date information related to upcoming programs and current events;
• An up-to-date calendar of events;
• A referral page and job-posting pages, which will be exclusively accessible by our members by way of a username and password.  The referral page will contain a list of members and their practice areas, which other members can access and use to refer clients.  The job-posting page will include updated job listings.
• Links to our social pages on Facebook.com & Linkedin.com.
• A secure and instant way for members and supporters to pay for programs hosted by Crawford and to renew annual memberships.  Members and supporters will still have the option to mail in payments.
• An innovative photo gallery of pictures taken at our events.

In addition to the website’s many new technical features, the graphic design and interface is an improvement. Crawford streamlined the site’s navigation, making it more intuitive and user-friendly.  In the coming months, Crawford will continue to make changes and upgrades to the website.  Questions and comments can be sent to:  feedback@georgecrawfordblackbar.org.
