MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

To become a member, complete the registration form then, once redirected to this screen, select the membership type below to be automatically directed to the payment process. A confirmation email will be sent to you with your user name and password for members-only website access privileges.

Pricing is based on a yearly membership (June to May). Dues received on or after March 1st of each year shall apply to the subsequent term of membership and end on May 30 of the following year. The prices below reflect online pricing for membership, and includes the applicable processing fees.

MEMBERSHIP TYPES

Membership in Crawford consists of two classes, Regular Membership and Associate Membership.

Regular Members shall be any person who is a member in good standing of any bar.

Associate Members shall be any of the following persons:

1. A person who is currently enrolled in a law school or who has graduated from a law school and has not been admitted to practice before any state or federal court;

​

2. A legal assistant qualified through education, training or work experience, who is not admitted to practice law before any state or federal court, and who is employed or retained in Connecticut, by a lawyer, law office, corporate law department, governmental agency or other entity engaged in the practice of law, under the ultimate direction and supervision of an attorney;

​

3. A person who has a professional degree, or not less than two years experience, in the field of legal administration, who is not admitted to practice law before any state or federal court, and who is employed or retained in Connecticut, by a lawyer, law office, corporate law department, governmental agency or other entity engaged in the practice of law.
